About your instructor

Let me introduce myself: I am Dr. Douglas Lublin. I have been teaching for my entire career, and I have been at Foothill College since 2013.

My teaching philosophy

I believe that each of you is fully capable of being successful in this math course. My role is to present and guide you through the course content, work with you on critical thinking and problem solving skills in learning and using this material, and help you to see connections across multiple areas of math. Your role is to do the work of learning: it can be challenging and it requires time and effort, but with perseverance, you will all be successful.
