Student services: Identifying signs of stress in your students and dealing with online test anxiety

The COVID pandemic and its obligatory all-virtual learning environment create unprecedented challenges for faculty and students. How do we support our students ? How can we differentiate between a "normal" reaction and one that requires intervention ? What do we do if we don't know what to do? Psych Services presents some tips to help us navigate these uncharted waters. In this training you'll explore how to:

Identify signs of stress in your students
Learn clues to differentiate normal stress from clinical depression/anxiety,
Understand the fundamentals of Test Anxiety
Develop strategies to approach students of concern
Know what to do if further intervention is needed.
