Ben Shapiro 'Destroys' White Privilege (10 min)

*Instructor note: on youtube you will see titles like this disproportionately on the right. Such and such "destroys libtard", etc. In the conflict that emerges between the left and the right, there is asymmetry in the nature of the attacks that are levied. I think from the right we see many more instances of aggression directed toward the left. On the left, attacks against the right tend to be more mocking and condescension in nature (think late night TV and comedy shows that skewer the right). Again, I think these differences arise from the contours of each relative ideological position.

I am including this video here to expose you to the types of arguments and talking points on the right. If you're left-leaning, some of this content may be offensive to you. I encourage you to watch with a resilient mindset. There is value in knowing the talking points from all political points of view. Sometimes hearing the other side can lead to a deeper, more nuanced, understanding of the truth. And I also think it's helpful to know the talking points and arguments from the other side, so you are better prepared to call BS and refute points to their argument.
