My name is Jesús García. I will be your professor in the Fall '21 quarter. Just a little about me, I graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with my Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and from Point Loma Nazarene University with my Masters of Science in General Biology. I have worked for various years in the Emergency Department at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto as a scribe while I work at obtaining my degrees. I currently work in the Emergency Department during this pandemic of COVID-19.

I have worked various years in Education as well, teaching for various High Schools and Summer Programs in California. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics to students at UC Berkeley TRiO, Wahupa TRiO in San Diego, and Modesto Junior College Pre-College Programs.

I have a passion for teaching Biology and a passion for helping students succeed. My goal is to help create future scientists that will help the world. This means helping create future Scientists, Doctors, Nurses, and Future Researchers who can one day find the cure to the next global virus. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions you might have about your future career path or any questions about the world of Biology or Science in general.

The next "must-do" step is to complete the Orientation Module. In this module, you will learn some of the basics of Foothill College as well as complete a quick discussion about yourself and also a brief survey about this course. As well, this is where you will find more information about this course.

After you have completed the Orientation Module, you will get started on Week 1 Module. We will discuss more about the course during our first Lab Section on either Tuesday 2-4:50pm or Thursday 9-11:50am.
